| Xirdalan (Khyrdalan) is the name of an Azerbaijani town approximately 100km. away from the capital, Baku. It is also the name of the number one local beer. The Baki-Castel brewery doesn't have that much of competition in Azerbaijan either. There are a couple of other breweries in the country, but with the French Castel Group behind the business, the brewery has a clear majority on the market. Other brands include the local "Bizim Pive", and the French lagers "33" and "Castel". |
