| Why this beer is named after a city in America, I do not know! The logo of the paddle steamer along with the name would perhaps be more relevant for a brewery in the southern states near Mississippi. Nevertheless the production of beers is quite big in Botswana. 32,95 litres per capita is produced (2004), which places Botswana in the top three of beer consumers in the south of Africa. Jeppe "Bierkönig" Bjergsø deserves a big thank you for the beer. |
