This beer is the youngest brand from Al Ahram Beverages, and the name Sakara is referring to a famous archeological site of Egypt. Even though the majority of Egyptians are muslims the beer production is growing bigger and bigger. From 1,69 litres per capita in 2001 to 3,86 litres per capita in 2004.
