| Who would have thought that it could be possible to get a couple of beers from one of the most isolated countries in the world? Nevertheless, this is a genuine local beer from the capitol of North Korea. Taedonggang is referring to the Taedong river, who runs through Pyongyang. The brewery is state-owned, and the equipment is from a former British brewery. There has been some export to South Korea, but after an incredible increase of the beers from the brewery, the export is back to around zero. |
