| Mack Bryggeri is according to themselves the most northern brewery in the world. But in fact there is a microbrewery called Nordkapp Mikrobryggeri, which is situated even more north of Tromsų. Mack bryggeri was founded by Ludvig Mack in 1877. Norway is one of the absolute most expensive beer countries. A normal lager beer easily costs around 4 dollars in a supermarket. But back to the brewery, it is one of the biggest in Norway, and the range is rather big too. The name Haakon is reffering to the number of (at times Danish) kings, who have ruled over the Scandinavian country. |
