| The Yerevan brewery factory was founded in 1952. Now the enterprise produces 9 types of beer, The “Kilikia” beer, which is named after a prehistoric kingdom and landscape of the Kaukasus area, has actually won several medals and in many prestigious international contest - Unfortunately I haven't tried the lager myself. Currently the products of the enterprise are exported to Russia, USA, France, Holland, Greece, Belgium, Lebanon and Georgia. A little curiosity to this beer; the bottom is shaped in such a way that the beer can't stand by its own! It has to be supported by another beer on each side. |
