| This beer is named after the English pirate Edward Teach from the 17th. century. He was nicknamed Blackbeard for all of his facial hair. He sailed around the Caribbean Sea, where he frightened all of his enemies because of the amount of facial hair. The Virgin Islands Brewing Company also produces the lager Foxy's, but the Blackbeard Ale is much more popular both locally and internationally. A big, big thank you to Philippe "Bov" Corbat for trading this beer. |
