| Founded in 1933 in Bauchrieh by Lebanese shareholders, mainly the Jabre family , the Almaza Brewery was initially called "Brasserie Franco-Libano-Syrienne". In spite of many damages due to various bombardments during the Lebanese war, the brewery continues its activity, and is today the only big brewery in the country. Almaza Pilsener is exported to countries like Canada, the US., England, France, Australia and countries in the Gulf. |
